The bill was more than I expected

Greeted by courteous personnel and service was done promptly. My only complaint is that the car was run through the car wash, the rinse was not working so my car was handed off to me with soap film/residue all over it. I then had to drive to a car wash and pay to wash my car.

Went to Cecil Atkission service dept for an oil/filter change on my 2023 chev 2500 pickup. Met with Service Advisor, David Werner, to set up service. David was friendly, professional, and was knowledgeable about my vehicle and other service procedures that I asked about. He was able to provide a cost for the transmission service and 4 wheel drive service. Only issue I came across was one of the screws that holds the plastic cover on the engine air filter was stripped. it will not tighen up. Is this a warranty issue? At the time of this survey I have not been able to talk to David about this. Best design I've seen is a threaded metal insert on bottom part of filter housing, using threaded bolts to secure filter cover to bottom. Bolts and/or metal inserts won't strip out.

I’ve had an on going issue with my very expensive 3500 HD high country. The dealership charged me to fix it back in 8-2024. Now that the truck issue has gotten worse they want to gut the interior. Doesn’t make sense

David was great to work with. He found the deal I wanted and was patient with me to make it happen. Once I agreed on the car, Dan was spot on to help me. They both understood what I wanted, my objective and my goal in purchasing this car and worked closely with me to make it happen. It was a better experience than I expected. There was a glitch in downloading software in my 2023 Chev Colorado, plus my driver's side traffic indicator light was activating when there was no visible traffic. David took the time to do a test drive to check everything out. I really appreciated him actively listening to my concerns.

Prompt, clear, and respectful of customer decisions

In January 2025 I traded in my 2017 Bolt and bought a 2025 Equinox ev. On April 3rd, 2025 while driving my Equinox on the highway, all the electronics as well the brakes suddenly without warning went out. Luckily I avoided a major collision. I had the Equinox towed to Cecil Atkission Chevy in Kerrville Texas where I bought the car. They tried to repair the car 3 times without sucess. My wife who was riding with me when the brakes and electronics went out did not feel safe riding in the car. After the repair shop having the car for a month without suceessfully fixing the car my wife and I decided the car was not safe to drive. I told the dealership that I did not want the car back. I then bought a 2025 Silverado ev from the dealership. I feel that Chevrolet corporation should have been involved in the buy back of my Equinox as well as the purchase of my replacement Silverado ev. Cecil Atkission gave me a fair deal, but I feel that Chevrolet corporation bears more responsibilty in selling me a defective product.

Person first answering my call was Allan , and he had an accent that made it difficult for me to understand him. I just had one simple question but he must be fairly new. He said he would have someone else call me. That was Becky and she was easy to understand and very knowledgeable and helpful. Everything else was fine.

Your service writers need a bit of training on how to treat their customers a little kinder.

Service advisor Becky and the service manager are good folks. We seem to have a good communication on what my needs are. I own a construction company, my schedule is demanding, my truck is a Mobil office and equipment hauler. Becky seems to always try to meet my needs as best she can. It’s very much appreciated.

It seems there is nothing that can be done for a persistent squeek in the right rear wheel area that has been present since we bought the car in September of 2023. The service manager said they tried all they knew.

I was recently involved in an accident and my vehicle was deemed a total loss. The dealership was able to completely take me through the gap claims process and get me into another vehicle. They were with me every step of the way. I am very grateful.

Mari always takes good care of me when I have to bring my suburban in for service. The issues are settled in a timely manner and in a professional manner. That is why I always come back when I need something done to my 2019 suburban.

I found the lowest price for the same vehicle at other dealerships. Joe Lord was so nice and kept me updated the whole time. Offered to lend me a rental if I needed it before mine was ready. The process was quick and easy and everyone was kind and helpful. The front desk even had a basket of toys to entertain the kids so I could do some final paperwork. All my questions were answered. I was offered water, which seems like a small thing, but was just all the extra touches that made it an overall great experience.

Great dealing with pros.

Frustrated by the rental car process. If the vehicle needs to be left there its part of the GM warranty that a loaner or rental be provided, but it seems like the there's always a reason it can't be done. This is a new problem in the last few years as it used to be very simple and easy. I dont want my truck in the shop any more than anyone else, but I also dont want to be stranded.

David our service person was great. He explained everything about what would take place with our vehicle and when it would be completed. The mechanic also was very informative. He took a video of our tahoe as he was evaluating any potential issues. The only constructive item for your consideration would be to put a water softener on your car wash equipment. I really appreciate you washing my vehicle after service but with the hard water that exists in Kerrville, now I have to remove the water spots that exist. Otherwise I am very happy with the service I get from Atkission Motors.

The service felt disorganized, and I was given answers that didn’t seem accurate or fully thought through. An estimate was provided for my truck without a complete inspection, which came across as misleading. After deciding to tow my vehicle to another shop, I waited over 45 minutes just to pay because I was essentially forgotten. Maybe it was just an off day, but overall, the experience felt unprofessional and left me questioning the shop’s transparency.

Tyler was excellent and Will was good as well. The process of purchasing the vehicle went with out any issues. I was slightly disappointed with the delivery though. When I picked my vehicle up it hadn’t been detailed. I was told that it would be. I had to go purchase a scraper to remove the stickers off of the windows myself. It was after 5:00 pm . I was told that if I would bring it back that it could be detailed at a later date. I really don’t have time for that. I have to say that my bed cover did get transferred from my trade as I was promised.
